So in summary, you did use stabilize followed by sharpen on the last image.
Yes, but, I tried both Sharpen and Focus as second process. Results were very,
very similar. I only showed Focus.
I have been liking AI Sharpen a lot, getting back images I otherwise might
have skipped over. On macro shots I have seen some bad results using stabilize
on some of the out of focus areas.
All of these tools are "AI", trained on selected examples. Unlike apps that use algorithms, written by people, they can
go "bad" on images, or parts of images, that are outside their training.
Speculating, if Stabilize were used on tripod/stand macros, with absolutely no movement blur, but with bokeh of Macro
lenses, or perhaps on shots with a lens with "onion" bokeh such as from molded aspherics, it might easily do a bad job,
even make things worse.
I haven't checked since updates, but, as an example, Denoise on more than one image was fabulous on low detail parts of
an image - and on high detail parts, but with a sort of Halo around the high detail parts where low detail was not NR
corrected. Now that I know more, I would probably find Clear worked fine.
This tool can make an somewhat lesser lens almost as good as a premium lens.
Almost?
Although I have not seen what it will do for chromatic aberration and suspect
it does not fix that?
No clue
Like a good long novel, there is still so much to learn and explore with
photography these days.
For which, Gratitude!
