There was a time when x 2 was considered considerable ..
Then Angenieux came up with a X 3, and later on for the Moscow Olympics X 7 or
13.
For the type of job we’re are (nearly) all doing (snaps of pets and grandkids,
food and city scapes, etc), and the type of viewing our produce gets (phone,
tablet, uncalibrated monitors, etc), any lens would do.
Except for dedicated pixel peepers.
This landscape displays a glorious light - and its « sharpness « is ok so long
as you view the image large.
Downsizing kills a lot of the potential IMHO.
