Of course, Caravan has no pressurization, less power by a lot, and made to
compete in a completely different arena. I remember, as I worked there while it
was being developed, that it was made at the request of Fedex and specifically
designed to fir their needs, just as the new sky courier is going to be.
Initially, many CEssna upper management didn't believe there would be a market
for the caravan after the first 125 went to Fedex, and were fine with that.

The Pilatus PC-12 is a workhorse up here. Preferred to the Cessna
Caravan. While the Caravan can carry more, it is REALLY slow and
inefficient in comparison. And then there is that short-field
performance!
