I am fascinated with you guys that use non native lenses with your cameras. I
feel like there should be some of you in an exhibit in the zoo. My first
cameras, in college, was a pentax spotmatic. I took good photos, but there were
things that drove me nuts, and threw many monkey wrenches into my works. Lord,
lord, screw mount lenses, stop down metering, pre set apertures. I didn't want
any of that getting in the way of my getting the photos I wanted. So I got rid
of it. And there's no way I'm going back!!
And, Jan, keep your damn hands off my 21/2!

Fair enough, but this is probably also an issue using those OM Zuikos on a
full-frame mirrorless, no?

I have done that with two OM Zuikos, the 90/2, and the 21/2.
I recommend NOT grinding it off.
That's the route I took with the 90/2. It took an hour, carefully taping
everything off to keep metal filings out, slowly doing a stroke at a time with
the file.
I was less patient with the 21/2, and grabbed that sucker with fine-tip
electronic pliers, and wound it up like a sardine lid! It was done in ten
seconds, with no metal filings, and with a better "look" to the result.
