It's a safe bet that a gear leg wouldn't be punched through a wing. Anxious to
find out what caused that. Sounds like what first comes to mind, pilot error,
is a long ways down the list.

There are still a lot of advantages to King Airs. If Dale, Jr. had
been in a KA instead of that Citation, he would probably have made
Elizabethton, TN with no problem.
