In all fairness....  It's not like some committee is reviewing your photos. The 
facebook reviewers are highly stressed individuals with little time for each 
photo, probably from some other country, and likely to error on the side of 
caution - given the < 2 seconds they spent looking at your photo.

It is a major problem for facebook. I pity the people with that job.
