I'm not being critical, just an observation. I have visited that museum, and
seen that locomotive up close and personal. It appeared much much bigger in
person. It is my favorite steam loco.

Cab forward, articulated, 4-8-8-2 design, in part so crew were not asphyxiated
in the many long tunnels and snow sheds
in the Sierra Nevada mtns. Just slightly smaller than the Big Boy above. The
only survivor of SP's 256 cab forward locos.
