It isn't now, but that's what it originally was. But of course it's certified.
But then again a boeing 737 Max is/was certified too.

Wikipedia doesn’t have it as a cruise missile engine, Bill. Anyway, it can
glide pretty well, it seems, as well as having a parachute descent system.
