Hello all,
I had the opportunity to try the A7 with an OM Zuiko 50/1.8 lens (@ 1-8 as far
as I recall).
It's not easy to get the focus peaking to work well, but when it does, I think
the results are amazing.

I hope to have a couple more images to show in a day's time.
Not a particularly inspiring landscape, but well captured.
Focus peaking works best with high contrast edges, of which there are precious few in this subject. Focus Magnification
works better for this sort of subject. Especially good if on a tripod.
A trick for this sort of distant subject and a short lens is to focus on something far away, on a tripod, and note
and/or mark where infinity focus is. I checked several of my OM WA lenses, 18-35 mm, and all hit infinity at the stop at
the end of focus travel. With those and this subject, I wouldn't need to focus using the EVF or LCD.

What if the Hokey Pokey *IS* what it's all about?
