It just occurred to me that A few nights ago, I saw something on the local TV
news about an aftermarket dashcam. Probably would be a hassle to mount on
handlebars and carry a battery, but maybe worth looking into.

The point is that you can’t just sweep your eyes around; you have to move them
a small distance then stop to look, move and stop. The saccadic jumps make this
essential.
