Theoretically if the mirrorless cam has an AA filter linear pol could cause an
issue in some axes. The AA filters are composed of birefrigent material and
polarize light. That could cause aliasing issues which might manifest as
moire. That be said, last time I saw an appropriate target shot with a linear
pol on a mirrorless cam with an aa filter, I was hard pressed to perceive any
issue.
