Yes, folks, he does actually *use* cameras, rather than just talk about them!
I spend a lot of boring time waiting for the ferry. When the weather is nice, I
pack my big glass and get out of the car and look around a bit.
There were a lot of boring, static subjects, then this guy flew up and landed
about 30 meters (100 feet) from me, and struck various poses over about ten
minutes.

I guess I should have rotated the lens to portrait orientation, but I was
afraid he’d go away while I wasn’t shooting.
Shot with the help of a monopod. (And IBIS, of course!) I used *both* focus
magnification and focus peaking, although focus mag is not terribly useful on a
monopod.
