Charlie, I record early news on ABC, along with NCIS and Blue Bloods.
That allows me to dodge the frequent commercials. At my age, time's too
short to waste it on commercials! I also keep a frequent eye on a live
camera covering airport activity.

I couldn't agree more, Jim. Television is for news and old movies.

Thanks, Chris. I'm half way through this one, and it's enjoyable. My
reading pattern is to try a sample of an author I find recommended, and,
if I like his or her work, then read all of his books available in our
library. Then I repeat the process. I read approximately three novels
each week. I prefer them to most of the garbage on television, and they
don't intrude with commercials.

Yes, the colours seem to harmonise pretty well, Jim. Is a “faux” Ian
Fleming any good?

Watched the radar, saw a break in the rain for a few minutes, so I
donned my raincoat and headed out to the local library to gather up some
