I began my exit from film photography when the local Walmart closed its
film processing lab, around 2006. I tried other processors, but didn't
find the quality or reliability to meet my needs. This image is from
one of the last rolls I shot in my Leica IIIf, though I used a Russian
Jupiter 12 lens, the best 35mm lens I had at the time. There was an air
show scheduled, so I had a couple of cameras in hand. This colorful
performer was ready for its appearance.
