It varies by country. In Denmark the most popular phone pay solution is called
Mobile Pay, in other countries Apple Pay is popular, I have some local Spanish
app on my iPhone which I had to use at a beer festival a couple of years ago.
Frankly, I would not bother with all this. Just use your credit or debit cards
from home, assuming they have a PIN. In most European countries you can no
longer use your signature to sign a credit card purchase.
