I took a stroll this morning through an artificial riparian area, which is
also a water recharge facility. I'm used to seeing bird watchers walking about
with large lenses, but this morning I came across one that dwarfed anything
I've ever seen. It was a Canon 600mm f/1.8. It was about three feet long and
eight inches in diameter. Can't find any information on this one, so it must
be very new.
The attraction there this morning was a group of seven pelicans, which
were also very large.
