Thanks, Moose, Paul, and Phillipe.

Phillipe, check out their Web site, there are videos of a couple of their songs.

Moose, you'll love this.  At the archeological park near Syracusa, Sicily, there is a cave called Dionysius' Ear. It has amazing acoustics--outside, you can hear anything people are saying inside. And inside, it resonates and echoes beautifully.  People love to sing in the cave. While we were there, an Italian lady sang a couple of songs--beautifully. Then I decided to sing the bass part to "Matona Mia Cara," a rather racy 16th-century Italian madrigal wherein a German mercenary soldier tries to woo a local lady in very bad Italian.

And the Italian lady looked at me and said: "Oh, yes, I remember that one."  And gave me a big grin.

I'm a little biased, because my cousin Rachel Hanser is one of the four, but I can tell you that they were *good*.  Way good.  Here are a few shots from the show.  Rachel is the one with the dark curly hair.

As more people gathered for the tram, we gained an impromptu audience. When we stopped as the tram approached, we got a nice ovation! ( seven altos and sopranos - and one baritone. ;-) ) On the train, one of us heard one woman saying to another "They were really good" Yowsa!
