This is one of my big challenges. I take a picture of a mountain and I

Maybe this info hasn't gotten up your way... There is a device that
incorporates a lodestone that allows one to determine the direction of
view in relation to a mysterious point somewhere up in northern Canada.
This is handy when used in conjunction with a 2D graphic representation
of terrain which we down here call a 'map'.
