We still have eight weeks remaining in the hurricane season, and it shows
no sign of ending early.
Hurricane Michael (presently a tropical storm) is passing through the
Cuban Strait, heading northward to the Florida Panhandle. It will make
landfall there Wednesday night as a weak category 1 storm, then head across
Georgia and the Carolinas as a tropical storm, then out into the Atlantic on
Friday morning. There will be lots of rainfall along its path.
