The MB is ancient for a computer. I think the vintage was about 2008.
ASUS M2N-SLI DELUXE

Long story but I ended up with two of them. The main one which just died
had an AMD Athlon 64 X4 and I maxed out the RAM 8gigs. My backup has an
Athlon 64 X2 and is a fair bit slower. Glad I have it though. Only had
to plug in my C: drive and go. Can't complain it just chugs right along.
I started with an AGP card way back last century but this is the one I
have now. It's a PCIE2.0 card that I got with a new monitor. The old MB
was only PCIE1.0 so I was leaving a bit on the table. . I'll have to
upgrade when I get a new high rez monitor.
