Just started to look at a few. Film is not ready yet. Late July means sunset
at about 2:30 AM and sunrise 4AM so have to be lucky with light. Hiking is
easy as don't have to worry about getting dark at all, as it never really did.
No astro-landscapes were possible of course.
Wanted to try gigapixel on an image and Moose mentioned a new version allows
option for CPU vs GPU processing--slower but more compatibility with more
systems. Not sure about optimum upres for a given large crop, but 200% for
the eagle shot led to better IQ than other means at my disposal could muster.
Perhaps a different choice would have been even better. I wish the eagles
were closer as barely enough reach for 800mm FF equivalent. Would not have
wanted to lug an equivalent lens for FF.

Hope to post a few more if they are good enough, Mike
Wonderful!
I love Marnie's boat, and love your eagle!
