I am cheating a bit; the picture was taken in Madrid about 3 weeks ago, but I
only got the negatives back from the lab last week and scanned this roll
yesterday. The negatives on this roll of HP5+ are too dense; I am not sure if I
overexposed the entire roll or (more likely) the lab overdeveloped it. Perhaps
their process is not suited to classical emulsions like this one; two rolls of
Ilford Delta film in the same shipment were developed perfectly (the lab is
Carmencita in Valencia). In any event, there was one picture on this otherwise
semi-failed roll that I really like. I took some other photos of my aunt Rachel
when I met her in Madrid during my day trip there, but this one is by far the
best of the lot, grain and all:

The lens was a collapsible 50mm Summicron.
