That's not really what I would call a beach experience, as most of us
would define it. But if you've missed it, it's nice to be there.
How about if I rename it "Still Life with Movement" or some such arty
title? It's really about composition, shape and tones.
We enjoy our coast in all sorts of weather. Spring and Fall are pretty
reliable for sun. In Summer, the fog cycle takes over, and sunny days
aren't so common. Even more so at Pt. Reyes NS, on the part that
sticks out into the ocean.

We've had a friend visiting for a week. She used to live here, but
is now landlocked in Colorado. so she really wanted to visit the

We've been watching the weather, looking for the break in the summer
fog cycle to get some sun out there. It was actually a beautiful day
- until right at the beach, where we were under the edge of the
marine layer.
Julia was happy with her watery communion, I found photo ops and we
all then had a wonderful late lunch in the sunny Garden of a
restaurant. A good day.
Here's a woman enjoying her day at the beach.
