That's what I assume, too, but I missed the live demo. I should mention that
the 'mirror' is the bottom of the trowel.
That new toy/tool (we all have them, I think)
I surely do! Latest is the Uni-Loc tripod.
I'm a bit frustrated that there seems to be nothing I "need" or want in the photography gear department just now. B&H
daily specials and other ads and announcements keep rolling in. Other than a little trinket once in a while, there's
nothing to tempt me.
Latest rumor:
"Multiple sources told me that Olympus will NOT have a new products stand at this years Photokina. Instead they will
have a presence in form of a “Perspective Playground“. This means there is a 99,9999% chance Olympus wont announce a new
camera. No new E-M5III and no new PEN-F."
Next big show is May. Looks like no new gear for Bhutan in April.
looks really useful but it’s pretty pricey!
This son is a wonderful person in most ways, and a really excellent father to my granddaughters, but his grasp of
handling money has never been good.
I’ve used a Weber Q, the original one, for about 12 years now – less planning
and preparation required for BBQs even if I do miss the taste of charcoal.
I used to do the Weber kettle thing with charcoal. I remember butterflying a leg of lamb and slow cooking it over a pan
of water with charcoal piled up on the sides. It was excellent, but I just lost interest in all the fuss. Now, I do
sausages on a cast iron grill pan and blacken chops with a rub in a skillet.
I'll happily spend almost two hours prepping and cooking my Descanso Stir Fry, but can't imagine spending the time he
does for a steak on the grill. The stir fry is a complex, nuanced, combination of flavors, textures and colors.
Different strokes . . . (And the stir fry is huge, feeding us for at least three meals, getting better as it ages in the
fridge.)
Hmmm, must be time for lunch . . .
