Big Foot out for more exercise in the garden.
I believe the flower is also known as lady’s eardrops, lady’s locket and
lady in a boat as well as Mary's hearts as you say. It doesn't stick around
long a
and once the flower is gone it quickly withers, not to return until next May.
The less showy "native" Dicentra blooms most of the summer.
