We have a storm system arriving here in the southwest today that will have
consequences all across the US for the next week.
Beginning tomorrow noon, a vigorous cold front will develop from northern
Texas to Nebraska. A front such as this at this time of year usually results
in strong thunderstorms and tornadoes. This front will continue to develop as
it moves eastward, stretching from Louisiana to Indiana late Saturday.
On Monday this system will develop into a large low-pressure system over
the Appalachians, just shy of becoming a nor'easter on Tuesday. It will
eventually move out of the area on Wednesday.
