I promised Ric Carter a couple of snaps of exotic trains.
Here’s a series, shot in western Thailand close to Myanmar (formely known as
Burma) on a local line used by tourists and school children among others.

The last one is special, close to the (Australian funded) POW Museum. The
bridge crosses River Kwai, which you must have heard of, at least thanks to the
movie.
