There were only maybe 2-3 manufacturers who had offending screw holes
and (at the time) cooperated with supplying thin plastic shims to glue
over the screw heads.

I remember the adaptall issue from the list. Just had to get the OL version
or epoxy the screw and then no issue.

The Tam 300/2.8 was well though of as I recall. I have the 400/4 but a
bit of CA with less resolution than some recent lenses but has a nice
rendering.
