Thank you Ed, Moose, Bill, and Wayne for reaching out.
I too have been thinking to use a 75mm enlarging lens. However, I am
unfamiliar with the mounting thread situation, and don't want to get more
caught up in adapters to mount and fit into with the vivitar bellows system
I have. while the OM 80 lens I am 90% sure will work with what I have.
I see several ones located in the US on the 'Bay for $170-200.
The Oly Bellows is so beautifully made, so slick and solid to use, that I'd be waiting for a clean one at a good price
and dump the Vivitar. Auto diaphragm with a double cable release is a huge convenience you may not be aware of (when
shooting film or a digi with cable release socket.)
I picked up a mint one in box for under $100 as back-up and so I didn't have to switch bellows unit and focusing stage
on the one rail I had.
