That's French Cooking compared to raw cauliflower and celery.
If there ever was a poster-child photograph of what the E-1 is all
about, I think that one is it.
All these years, I've been hearing about all the wonderful color I've been
missing since I opted for a D300 over an E-1.*
OK, here's five images versions of a tough red/purple subject.

There are at least three sensor systems involved and at least one is an E-1. All shot with the same original E-1 kit
lens, 14-54/2.8-3.5 @ f8.
Cropped very slightly to compensate for imperfect framing.
Which might be which? Which do you like?
Working on a couple of other subjects. No fall color here as yet, but I'll be
out looking.

* D300 could focus a detailed subject in the dim at the long end of the
tele-zoom, E-1 couldn't. No brainer for me.
