Thanks for looking; I've resolved the problem by either using OpenDNS, giving
it a bit of time or . . . Adjusting the login on my modem/router for my new
ISP. The last should have been obvious, but the connection worked fine without
adjustment while I was using a dynamic IP address.
Oh well!
