>Olympus E-1 with OM Zuiko 24/2.8 lens. ISO 100, F5.6 and 1/1/5 second.
Works nicely. AG continues to make the OMZ's sing. That was my 2nd Zuiko
purchase and it is still a tiny gem.
Problem with MFT and OMZ lenses of course is the crop factor. The thick sensor
stack can also degrade performance for WA --somewhat depends on exit pupil
location. Jan likes it well enough for macro where those factors don't mater
much and Oly supports 5 Axis IS for adapted lenses and only 3 on FF Sony unless
focus distance is reported to the cam. Some MF lenses can do that but they are
built for that mount.
Speedbooster increases the MTF and reduces the crop factor but not totally. It
also compensates for the sensor stack. There are two flavors but not all fit on
every MFT cam and some OM lenses can't be mounted on either. Sony A7RII has
IS and mucho megapickels and OMZ can be made AF with Techartpro adapters.
(works best with PD AF) The Zuikos can then be used as designed with FF
sensor, but for macro can certainly see Jan's point. Kolari modification of
the Sony sensor would be ideal for some WA's but that is optional.
We'll see soon enough, Mike
