This afternoon, a nature preserve outside Fort Wayne had a “Monarch
Festival.” They had naturalists talking about the Monarch’s life-cycle and
they were tagging and releasing monarchs so they could be tracked on their
journey south to Mexico. They also gave away free milkweed plants for
people who wanted to attract the insects to their gardens.
I got some awesome photos of the butterflies; you’d have loved to be there!
