There has been a significant change in the forecast for Hurricane Irma.
As late as yesterday evening the majority of forecasts had Irma making landfall
on the Atlantic coast a week from today. This morning, the forecasts have Irma
going through the Florida Strait, into the Gulf of Mexico, and making a sharp
turn to the north. This will impact the Florida Gulf Coast and then into
Georgia.
