On Tuesday I cycled a classic route south and west of Aarhus, known as the
Marselis route. There is an amateur race held here every year, in which I have
participated a couple of times. The route used to be 100 km but has recently
been shortened to 80 km, presumably to make it more accessible to more
participants. Still, it takes one through some very pretty landscapes and
villages. I cycled the route alone, starting from Lars’s apartment at 7:30 and
returning a bit before 12. In my case, the total was around 90 km, since the
distance from Lars’s place to the starting point is about 3 km, and I also
missed a turn and had to ride a detour at one point.
I did not take any breaks (except a brief one to answer the call of nature),
but when I saw something I wanted to photograph, I would momentarily stop, take
the little Ricoh out from the handlebar bag, and snap a picture or two. The
result is here:

And I invite you to come along for a bucolic, pleasant ride.
Cheers,
Nathan
