| Everyone, especially the TV channels, seemed to enjoy the total eclipse, 
but it had other impacts, as well.  There were reports of all sorts of 
balloon launches, carrying observation equipment. Locally, the skydivers 
made a mass descent during the local passing of the event. 
But, all of this caused the Air Traffic Control folks to enact a "Ground 
Hold", refusing to issue takeoff clearances for some period.  This 
Detroit-based Falcon Freighter sat for three hours, awaiting clearance 
for its next flight.
