John, I guess they are saying that close only counts with some things. 
Not eclipses. We saw the 2012 annular eclipse which is as close to full 
as you can get and it just isn't the same as a total.  FWIW tomorrow we 
get ~90% coverage here.
And so far the traffic is moving...
