I disagree with that. A lot of big-name photographers are using digital
today, and they’re still selling a lot of prints. In my own experience, my
digital prints sell very well. All of my printing is now digital, even
images shot on film. Has been for years; I have serious health issues that
make darkroom printing impossible for me. I have not had a single buyer
refuse to buy because my prints are digital.
Selling prints is, along with teaching photo lessons, is how I earn my
living. I am not getting rich, but I am selling a decent number of prints.
