The current Volvo offerings are attractive, though expensive. I found
it interesting that, while my 2007 model has a 5-cyl engine plus
turbocharger delivering 200 hp, the new ones use a 4-cyl engine plus
more boost, and deliver much more power. I also noted that they are
using Japanese transmissions these days.
