Looking at a scale on a map and where she was off the road, would estimate
about 5 miles. I had no clue by looking and she did not either--we don't have
any such vistas in New England and have no practice judging such distances.
It is likely the first staircase in Grand Staircase-Escalante national
monument. I think she could have focused a tad closer to the foreground,
stopped down another stop or focus stacked. I did my best with moderately
aggressive L-R deconvolution to sharpen the foreground. Marnie thought it
acceptable at viewing size and it is her shot so I deemed it OK.
