What was the other aircraft? Since the B-26 carries only 2 engines,
what was flying with it?
I had just started the return leg of my morning cycling trip when I
heard the deep rumble of four large resiprocating engines overhead. I looked
up in time to watch our visiting Confederate Air Force B-26 depart to the
southwest engines throttled back from METO to save them. It had been on
display at Mesa Falcon Field this past week.
Another moment when I should have had a camera with me.
