Rose-Breasted Grosbeaks pass through every spring and fall as they
migrate. I usually see them for a few days as they bulk up for the next
stage of their journey. This guy sat out a rainstorm on a feeding
porch. It got so dark that the ISO was all the way up to 6400.

I keep trying to improve my images of the Red Head. These were shot
with the lens aperture at f/8 for DoF with the 2X Extender, so the
shutter speed is quite low, but the tripod and cable release helped
immensely.
