Still way beyond my level of comprehension !
As long as I can use my X-T1 and X Pro 1 to generate properly exposed
images, can use PS CS5 to achieve minimal image improvements and can
then upload them to SmugMug for viewing I am a happy camper :-)

Network Attached Storage, WDMyCloud is an example and Netgear makes
modem-routers or gateways. My Netgear 6400 does dual band WiFi (802.12b/g/n and
802.11ac) and has very good range.

This must be Cambridge speak ............NAS, WDMyCloud and Netgear :-)
I showed a 35mm Kodachrome slide to our 11 year old grand daughter a week or
three ago and explained its purpose. She was just befuddled !
I am on the same level of befuddlement with all this Cambridge speak. Really

John, It might be easier to connect via a network cable or even wirelessly.
Most TV's support network connection if they're new enough to have hdmi
connections. TV's also usually have a slideshow function that will take care of
the resizing...or not. Check the options menu. I prefer to show at the native
resolution with bars if necessary or the photos get distorted, e.g. stretched
to 16:9. Our new TV is 3840 x 2160 and will up-rez 1920 x 1080 with hardly any
loss. I store my photos on a NAS and can view the originals on the TV. They
look very good!
