Here's our suet bird feeder on any average snowy day in January,
February, March or April.
On that particular day I had been a bit tardy getting out and brushing
off the snow!

Since I put out this block of soft suet loaded with seeds, this Downy
Woodpecker has been my best customer. The fact that it is a greasy
mess
may bother me, but it doesn't bother him at all.
