For the past few years we have seen very few bees, even when planta are
flowering profusely. I just stepped out to take a little break, and while
standing next to a large Sugar Bush (Rhus ovata) I heard a sound that has been
absent for some time: bees. Hundreds of bees, feasting on the sweet flower
clusters.
Maybe things aren't so dire after all.
