I never regretted the choice I made 37 years ago to retire early out of my own pocket. The social and political atmospheres in the places I worked were beyond my long-term tolerance, and I longed for the day when I was rid of all that. I made certain that I remained healthy in every way, and doing so made it possible to enjoy life after career despite the tight financial circumstances. > >The job is transitioning.
