One of our last hiking destinations was Lobhornhütte--one of the mountain huts.
We planned to have lunch there.
It was rather warm on the way up, until we got more elevation that is.
Here are my hiking companions on the way:

Here we were about a mile or so away:

We were short on Swiss francs--arghhh. She kindly accepted dollars, phew.
Best barley soup I have ever tasted. I was out of steam and could not abide
another meal of trail mix.
Recharged and rested we started down and were rewarded with this view:

Here is one shot from Mürren. We saw a ton of paragliders and they ran a twin
paraglider business in Interlaken that was hopping.

Marnie shot from Stampa near Soglio--more shots to process from that cam and a
few more film shots.

http://www.olyendomike.com/Switzerland-2016/i-N4TJLdw/A Dr. Flash would
have scolded me to use a bit a fill flash-- would have filled the eye sockets
and provided a nice catchlight.
I did bring a Flutterby kit and there are some spectacular Swiss critters. I
had only a very limited knowledge of what was flying and where. After the long
days on the trails had no takers
to go with me chasing critters. I vowed not to return w/o a decent shot or
dusk whatever came first. Only one usable shot of a fairly common one--not
very cooperative as it was warm and they were very skittish.

I returned to find the twins appearing rather stressed:

I am not very good at such activities while traveling, but suspect that may
improve with time.
Marnie dearly loves maps, BTW.
Hope you find one or two of interest, Mike
