Glad to hear that Calif. is frugal, as well. The plastic stickers
discolor fairly quickly. Perhaps Calif. doesn't worry about county ID
strips. The month stickers hold up pretty well. Any sticker just above
a trailer ball is going to suffer, anyway.

Huh? The plates on my convertible are 26 yrs old, Carol's Mazda, 25
yrs. Calif. doesn't replace plates unless they really need it. I think
one needs to pay for the replacements, too.
