Exciting News!!!!
Sky and Telescope just announced their plans for the eclipse and where
the "official" S&T event is going to be. It's NOT at the Grand Tetons,
but at the east end of Wyoming at Glendo, which is halfway between
Casper and the Nebraska state line.
So, that will thin the herd at the Tetons by a few dozen people.
Yeah team!
But more importantly, that confirms that one of my backup locations
was actually a good choice. It is more likely to have clear skies at
Glendo than at the Tetons, and the scenery isn't half bad.
