This weather system resulted in an outbreak of severe storms and tornadoes
in the southeast late yesterday, but it isn't over. Another storm system is
inside the 8-day forecast horizon, and it will arrive in Oklahoma early next
Wednesday, then make it's way eastward, arriving in Missouri on Thursday and
western Tennessee on Friday. Winds at 15,000 feet are predicted to be in
excess of 100kts, stronger than those of the present storm system. The severe
weather should stretch from eastern Texas to Indiana beginning on Thursday.
